Don't rest muscles that are sore from exercise!

For faster relief, repeat the activity that caused the soreness, but at a lower intensity. 

Hi! My name is Suzy Edmonds and I'm Fit and Want to be More Fit.

I have always been very active. I enjoy my pursuit of personal fitness and I value healthy living. Two years ago my view of exercise and fitness changed and I started yoga. I felt yoga would help me to maintain strength and fitness. I also started running, but a foot injury quickly halted my progress.

At physiotherapy I asked for a referral to a running coach. This is when I met Fred.

When I first spoke with Fred to discuss my long-term goals for running I was very impressed. During our first conversation we wanted to be sure my goals matched his service. Fred clearly communicated how he could help me achieve my goals and shared a great deal of knowledge. I felt comfortable and encouraged to get started.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with Fred. He is very attentive, engaging and encouraging during our 1.5-hour sessions. I have learned much about planning my runs, controlling my effort and being mindful of my form and technique.

Fred took the time to really get to know my fitness level and me. Most importantly, I strongly feel that Fred sees me as an individual as I work with him. The solutions and information he provides are tailored to my strengths and needs. It is because of this that I feel successful.

I am definitely a better runner now and my focus is to continue my journey to becoming the best, most efficient runner I can.
