What kind of workouts are best for building fitness? 

Workouts of moderate volume with moderate to strong effort are needed to improve your fitness. Vary your times between 45 - 90 min. weekly to create balanced ability and allow you to trigger further improvements. 

MY APPROACH*

Step 1. Screening Measures and Analysis

Fit By Fred's introductory assessment sessions provide a detailed analysis of several physiological parameters, with accuracy previously available only in human performance laboratories. Depending on your situation, needs and interests, you and I will use a variety of screenings and measures to decide how to get your results.

Heart, Lungs & Metabolic:

Since these systems drive your abilities, your health and fitness, we will challenge and measure the performance of these 'vital drivers' during your 'get started' session.

Muscle Work:

Next we will measure your ability with a number of interesting movements to gain starting points for improving your muscular endurance, strength and flexibility.

Remember:

A unique, personalized fitness plan is part of your puzzle, but not all of it... To find your way through the fitness maze you'll have to make good food choices often. Its the most dependable way to drop weight healthfully, boost recovery and gain performance.
 

Step 2. Personalization of Program

Your detailed analysis (described above) breaks down nearly every aspect of your performance, highlighting factors which are keys to better results. You will have useable ideas and clear direction for the kind, frequency and effort of exercise needed to improve your cardiorespiratory fitness, metabolic situation, muscular strength, flexibility... All with sustainable improvement to your body composition.

This approach is second-to-none and it will reduce any gaps between your physical potential and your personal performance(s). 
 

Step 3. Coaching and Support

Reaching your goals can be tough. It takes the right start, tools, knowledge, and guidance to be able to improve with each training session.

And, let's face it... you have to be really motivated. Once the assessments are complete and your plans in place you may choose to continue working with me. You'll get a results-oriented coaching sessions that are based on your needs, structure and exercise principles AND I'll help you do it better than you ever thought you could!

These private training sessions will ensure you feel you can exercise at your peak through a awesome combination of coaching, strategies and innovative equipment to show you your body systems performing LIVE! To maximize your investment, I'll keep you in your zones, making energy and burning calories the whole visit. Each session includes activities that will improve your conditioning, strength and flexibility.

Best of all, you'll walk away from every session with the motivation to stay on your plan to boosting your personal fitness and results.
 

Step 4. Progress Evaluation

Once you are moving on your initial plan, we will periodically revisit your initial screenings to gauge your progress and to adjust your activities, ensuring progress continues.
