This group I work with often has real health concerns. In all likelihood, you have never been really fit at any time in your life. Perhaps your cholesterol or blood pressure levels are alarmingly high. Or, blood sugar levels are controlling your lifestyle. Or, your body fat might be high, causing you discomfort and embarrassment. You know you should do something but you have no idea where to start. You hear about fitness and weight loss plans but you have not been able to stick to one on your own. You know you have to do something because your health depends on it. If you relate to this group, you know what it is like to be fit because you once were fit. You know what it feels like to have plenty of energy and vitality, and clothes that fit you well. This group knows what it takes to be fit because you are fit. You exercise several times a week and consider fitness to be an important part of your life.
